The latest WWF‘s flagship publication, reports the current situation of water supply and water sanitation in Europe by evaluating the holistic approach of the EU Water Framework Directive towards Europe’s water resources. Under this Directive, the EU Members States are legally committed to maintain and return 100% of their water bodies, including groundwater, to good health by 2027 at the latest.
